Signalconfusion gallery has been updated and now has most recently completed work (2006.) In addition, all old work, that is anything prior to 2003, has been removed. There is not yet an archive, but at some point one will be added to exhibit older works. Some of the older works have in fact been destroyed due to my obsession with change that seems to be psychologically fulfilled, at times, by annihilating symbols or aspects of the past. Regardless of the psychological health or artistic merits of such a practice, recorded images of the older works, for the most part, still exist and will be added to the archive. That is, until in a fit of emotional disturbance, a most likely late night sweat addled insomnia plagued by thoughts of mortality and the complex unknown of everyday experience, I get to my digital storage devices and files and erase those aspects of the past as well. In my more reflective moments I rationalize such conduct under the guise of adhering to Kerouac’s Rule 19 of Belief and Technique for modern Prose: “Accept loss forever.”
